2026 TWILIGHT REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!
Bullants welcomes all players, umpires and managers (female and male) to join our club for the 2026 twilight netball competition. The club is based at the South Canberra Netball Association (SCNA) courts in Deakin, ACT. All games are at the SCNA courts.
*Youth Presentation Night | Arrival and Parking Signing In: Please remember to bring your ID, you will be signed in under Bullants for this event. Parking: Once you have been signed in to the venue, individual parking will be validated on the way out.
Skills Development Program: South Canberra Netball Association are offering a 3 week program aimed at players (female and male) looking to extend their netball skills. It will particularly cater for players who are interested in playing or are already playing in the Junior Representative teams. Players will need to be proficient in the basic skills of netball.
This program aims to improve the speed, fitness and agility of all participants and to extend specific netball skills.

🌟 Spectators • All spectators to keep benches clear for players. • Please do not interrupt players during warmup or immediately after the game. • Cheer for all players (on both teams)!! • No commenting on umpire decisions. • No disrespectful commentary to any players, coaches, umpires or officials.
📸 Photography Reminder
SCNA is bound by the policies of Netball ACT and Netball Australia regarding images of children. You must advise an adult from the opposing team before taking photos/videos and obtain their agreement. If the opposing team does not give explicit agreement, you cannot take photos or videos during that game.
🌟 Behaviour Reminder
Bullants has ZERO tolerance for poor sportsmanship by teams or spectators. There will be no tolerance for poor sportsmanship towards umpires, other players, and coaches. We ask for your support to ensure this is a positive and respectful environment for everyone
SCNA is cracking down on un-sportsmanlike behaviours and bad language, so we would encourage everyone to ensure they uphold the Bullants Player Policy in this last round https://bullantsnetball.com/player-policy/ and are respectful and supportive on court.

🫶🏼 Volunteers Needed this Saturday 5 Sept!
To make sure all our athletes and supporters are well nourished, SCNA will be running the canteen and BBQ throughout the finals series and would really appreciate some help from our SCNA community to keep everything running smoothly!
We need some volunteers to help in the canteen, as well as some set-up and pack-up roles this Saturday 5 September. If you can spare a little time to help, it would be greatly appreciated.
A special shout out to some of the very worthy members of our community with our VP, Jude receiving Umpire of the Year, and Jazz and Perdi receiving Volunteers of the Year. We were also thrilled to see so many of our coaches nominated for awards! 👏 👏 👏

This team award is judged by the players in a team. One vote per player only.
This award encompasses elements like a player consistently playing as a member of the team, demonstrating good team ethic, positive attitude and sportsperson like qualities.

🚨 We Need Volunteers This Saturday (20th June)
Bullants Netball Club are on canteen and court duty this coming weekend, Sat 20th June! We need amazing volunteers to keep the day running smoothly.
Canteen & Court Duty:
Court Set Up & Pack Up: Moving netball poles, putting bins out, and setting up grass courts. *Please note: this requires some heavy lifting, and volunteers must be over 12.
Court Check-In: Checking in with the SCNA office for rostered duties.
Canteen Duty: Serving snacks, hot food, and drinks in the SCNA canteen.
How to Sign Up: Please click our sign-up link – your teams time slot will be marked out on the sheet! 🐜
A friendly reminder to players, parents and carers to reply in a timely manner to the manager’s polls regarding your player’s availability for matches. Our coaches find it tricky to plan teams and training sessions when final player availability is unknown.
Where to look: Jump into your teams WhatsApp chat. Your team manager posts a Poll each week leading up to training and Saturday games.
Why it matters: Coaches structure training sessions and plan game-day positions each week. Without knowing final numbers this makes it difficult for coaches to optimise these sessions and get the most out of each game.
Your quick response makes a massive difference in helping our coaches prepare the best possible sessions for the teams!
REMINDERS
Respecting & supporting umpires & officials
• Spot the green: Youth umpires (*under 18) will be wearing green arm bands as a reminder that they are young people who are still developing their skills.
• Keep it positive: Please do not comment on umpiring decisions during the game, or criticise officials with your players afterward.
• Lead by example: Show our young players what good sportsmanship looks like through supportive cheer & positive encouragement!
🐾 No Dogs Allowed Please remember that the South Canberra Netball Association (SCNA) courts are a strict no-dog zone. For the safety and comfort of all players, officials, and spectators, four-legged friends must stay at home on game days. Thank you for your cooperation!
