At Bullants Netball Club Inc., our greatest asset isn’t just on the court—it is the incredible community behind it.
Bullants Netball Club is a part of the South Canberra Netball Association (SCNA) playing weekly games at Deakin Netball Courts, Makin Pl, Deakin ACT. Bullants has been a part of SCNA since the 1980’s and in 2026 fielded 33 teams in the winter competition.
We are a 100% volunteer-run, non-profit club, meaning every coach, team manager, committee member, and coordinator gives their time freely to keep our players moving, learning, and thriving.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is to provide a positive and supportive playing environment that caters to all netball skill levels. We strive to make all volunteers and players welcome.
Competition
We offer netball teams in both the winter and summer competitions and cater for all age and skill levels.
Winter season training typically starts in February, with the formal SCNA competition starting in April/May.
The Twilight Competition is a social competition (no training-games only) usually occurring over October-December.
Training
Training is compulsory for all players registered in the winter competition (there is no training during the summer comp). Training for the winter competition is held on a Wednesday evening during the season with the exception of the school holidays. In the event of wet weather, a cancellation notice will be posted on our blog. Please note this can be a last minute decision subject to the weather.
Training times can vary depending on team numbers, but are approximately:
NetSeGo and Juniors : 5:30-6:30pm
Intermediates/Cadets: 6:30 – 7:30pm
Seniors: 7:30pm : 8-30pm
