Success at the Junior grading competition

Well done to Bullants Sioux, Shawnee, Cherokee and Arapaho for an excellent effort at the grading carnival this afternoon.  Looks like it is going to be a great season ahead.  A special thanks to our umpires on the day: Chloe, Meghan, Charlotte and Ashlin.

The 2013 season is up and running

As we are just about to launch into the 2013 Netball season there are a few things to bring to your attention.  We will finalise all teams this week and then we can send out coach contact numbers and ask for volunteers to fill the role of team managers.

  1. Training is every Wednesday evening, with the exception of the school holidays. Attending training is a compulsory part of being in a Bullants team.  If it is raining, please check the website as this is where we will publish cancellation notices.  These will be last minute so be prepared to train.  If you are unable to make it to training, please notify the team coach or manager (contact details will be available soon).
  2. Junior grading carnival is next Saturday, March 16th between 4-7pm.  Anyone in the juniors competition needs to be at the SCNA courts by 3:30pm.
  3. Round 1 of the competition proper is on Saturday, March 23rd.
    NetSetGo start at 9:30pm
    Juniors start at 10:30pm
    Inters start at 12pm
    Seniors Div 1 & 3 start at 1:30pm
Seniors Div 2 start at 3pm
Please be at the courts at least 30 minutes before start time so that you are prepared.
  4. Jewellery needs to be left at home.  This includes earrings, bracelets, necklaces and anklets.
  5. Fingernails should be trimmed before you get to the courts…court-side manicures are never very good and take up valuable warmup time.
  6. Uniform – If you are waiting on uniform to come from the supplier, then a plain white t-shirt and black skirt or shorts will be fine to wear.
  7. Netball is about having FUN – let’s not lose sight of what we are here for!

Looking forward to a very fun filled successful season.  See you at the courts!

Ok seniors…training is cancelled for you too now

Sorry for the late notice but the rain has now set in…see you next week

Inters and seniors are training…yeah

The rain has stopped…see you at the courts

NetSetGo and Junior training cancelled today

The weather seems a little wet at the moment so NetSetGo and Juniors training is cancelled this afternoon. Inters and Seniors, stand by…we will reassess the conditions at 5:30 pm. If you still need to pay your registration, we will be there from 5:45 pm to take your forms.

Looking for NetSetGo players

Bullants has space in our NetSetGo team for future netball champions. NetSetGo (formerly known as Netta) is a modified netball program aimed at 7-8 year olds.  No experience necessary, just a happy attitude and enthusiasm to give it a go.

All inquires to bullantsnetball@gmail.com

We are watching the weather

Update: looks like the weather is holding so see you at training.

Stay tuned…we are watching the weather and will let you know soon if training will be cancelled
