Weekly update

Registrations
We have had a huge response to registration this year and we will field 17 teams; 4 more than last year…gosh!!  There are only a few places left on selected teams and after this week we will close off registrations completely.  If you haven’t done your online registration you may miss out on being placed in a team.

Team Selection
Attendance at training is essential each week especially when we are trying to sort out teams. It is not an easy task placing players in teams but our selectors have been working hard. Many factors influence selections, one of which is that players develop at different rates, which is why teams change from year to year.   We aim to match players by ability to ensure everyone has a chance to excel and enjoy the game.  We will run a few combinations this week at training and tweak teams where necessary and then all players will be emailed.  The SCNA district grading carnival is on Saturday 21 & 28 March.  More details will be made available closer to the day but players need to be available at the following times: Juniors 10 am – 12 pm; Inters 12 pm – 2 pm.

Payments
Thank you to those of you who have made payments…keep them coming.  We understand the pressures on families at this time of year and if needed we can arrange payment plans.  Please email Ruth at bullantsnetball@gmail.com if you would like to access this option.  You will need to pay a minimum of $55 deposit for fees to cover player insurance and full payment will need to be received by 2 May 2015.  Uniform needs to be paid in full before pickup (which we anticipate to be in a few weeks).

Registration, grading and uniform

Grading continues this Wednesday and it is really important that the online registration has been completed.  We had a number of players last week who turned up and hadn’t completed their registration.  For insurance purposes we need players registered on the system to be able to take the court.  Additionally it is hard for us to know how many team officials and teams we need if our registrations aren’t complete.  You will need the player login and password that was provided several weeks ago.  Please let me know if you need your login resent by emailing me at  bullantsnetball@gmail.com
Please register at the following links:
NetSetGo SET  or Juniors, Inters, Seniors

UNIFORM- We have a number of Inters and Seniors players that should have ordered a dress but haven’t yet.  Please finalise your order by Wednesday or else supply is not guaranteed.

Regards,
Ruth

Grading & Last chance uniform

Wednesday 18 Feb sees the start of our grading sessions.  We will run grading over a few weeks as some players have school commitments. Please arrive a few minutes early so we are ready to start on time.
NSG and Juniors: 5:30 – 6:30 pm
Inters: 6:30-7:30 pm
Seniors: 7:30-8:30 pm
Please make sure you have finalised your online registration.

All uniform orders must be finalised by tomorrow evening.  Our uniform is custom made and we need to get orders in so that we can ensure everyone is ready for the start of the season.

Uniform Page update

The UNIFORM page has been updated and now includes an order form to help us manage orders.  We will be having a Try On afternoon THIS Wednesday at the courts, 5:30 – 7:30 pm.  All players needing uniform, especially the club dress (Inters and Seniors) will need to attend this session as the sizing on all items is NOT standard.

Socks – We now have Bullants Socks.  They are an optional uniform item (but will look totally awesome!)

Second hand uniform
Donations – If you are happy to donate your uniform items then please bring them into the pavilion and we will happily rehouse them.
For Sale – If you would like to sell your uniform, please place an advertisement  on the notice board outside the umpires room. Include description, price and contact details.

Keep those registrations coming.  Make sure you register your child in the correct age group.  Visit the COMPETITION page for details.

Change to Schedule

REGO HELP & UNIFORM Try Ons this WEDNESDAY 5:30 – 7:30 PM

Who needs to come to the courts:
NEW NSG & junior players
INTERS & SENIORS players who do not already have a club dress.  We will only have try on samples for one week so you need to get this sorted NOW.

Well done to all those who have submitted their online registration.  As this is a new process we will give you an extra few days to get this done, however we need to have the majority registered by Sunday 15 Feb so that we can get organised for grading.  This means that we will NOT start out grading this Wednesday.  Instead we will use this week for UNIFORM try ons.

Please click the relevant link below to register yourself or your child.  You will need the MyNetball login that you received through the week.

NSG (Set) 8-10 year olds
Note:  If your child is turning 10 and has played NSG before then register as a Junior but don’t make a payment until after grading on Wednesday 11 Feb (5:30 pm)

Juniors, Inters & Seniors
Note: If your child is under 18 the confirmation email will say they have been registered as a junior even if you selected Inters or Seniors…that’s OK and will not result in them playing in the wrong division.

Please email bullantsnetball@gmail.com if you have any issues

SCNA working bee thanks

A big thank you to the Bullants who came down to the courts today for the SCNA working bee…we were small in number but mighty in effort!

So are we set to register?

Hopefully everyone received their or their child’s MyNetball number and have been able to access the MyNetball portal. As we will go online on Friday to register we will NOT be at the Courts this Wednesday but will start with training / grading next Wednesday 11 February. Please email bullantsnetball@gmail.com if you don’t have a MyNetball login.

Uniforms
Last year we introduced the new Bullants dress which was worn by our seniors and Inters Div 1 teams (coincidently all these teams made the grand finals…yes it was the dress!). Inters players will be excited to know that we are rolling out the dress for all Inters divisions this year. We will have samples for players to try on next Wednesday.

Get set for online registrations

This year registrations will be managed online through the MyNetball portal.  Bullants is the first SCNA club trialing this system.  This means no more filling out paper forms!  Registrations open on FRIDAY 6 February.  The link will appear HERE when registrations open.  Each player has a unique MyNetball number which will be emailed to players over 18 or parents of players under 18.  The email will come from ResultsVault (not Bullants) which is part of InteractSports (Netball Australia’s provider).  If you are not playing netball this year then please just disregard the email, no action will be necessary.

The unique player number stays with the player for their entire netball playing career (regardless of which club they play with) so it is important to remember it.  You will need to visit the link provided in the email to set a password to the MyNetball portal.  If you haven’t received an email by Wednesday 4 February then email Ruth at bullantsnetball@gmail.com and I will sort it out for you.  When you visit the portal you can update your/your child’s personal details.  You will then be ready for the registration stage on FRIDAY 6 Feb.
