60 cheering Bullants went out to support the Canberra Darters tonight; some Chinook players even won a prize for the best support poster. Good job girls.
And check out Comanche supporting SIDS and Kids ACT with their red noses.

We need a volunteer from the audience please. There is an SCNA Council meeting on Wednesday 3 June at 6:30 pm at the Deakin Pavilion. Bullants is required to have one representative at the meeting. Failure to provide a representative will result in a 5 point penalty to all our teams ( applied in the following round). Previously our coaches have stepped into the meeting while coaching so that we were covered; clearly this is less than ideal as they are there to coach. So this week our coaches will not be doing that as they have a coaching training session.
Please email bullantsnetball@gmail.com if you can be our champion.

A couple of weeks ago SCNA hosted a presentation from the Asthma Foundation ACT. It was very informative and as a club administrator, highlighted the importance of disclosure especially if a player has a pre existing condition. If you are a parent of a child with a medical condition please have a chat to your coach. It is vital that we know about any limitations so that we can manage player welfare appropriately. This also applies to players returning from injury. Any information provided will be considered highly confidential.
Canteen: Navajo are on canteen duty this week (1:50-3 pm). Next week Shawnee and Mohawks are up.
Cree have the bye this week.
Training: there will be no player training on Wednesday 3 June ( the Wedesday before the long weekend) as our coaches will be at coach boot camp (the exception to this is Arapaho who will be assisting the coaches run through drills).

Saturday morning promises to be another chilly one. If players are taking the court in a jumper please make sure it is RED; it doesn’t have to be an official bullants one but it should be red in colour. We have placed another order of hoodies that will arrive in a few weeks.
Score sheets: all players MUST sign the score sheet before taking the court. It is a requirement set out in the SCNA ByLaws.
Junior umpires: thank you to the parents in the juniors time slots who supported the Junior Umpires last week as they officiated their first games. Bullants is represented by an amazing group of keen Inters and seniors players ready to take on official roles such as umpiring and coaching and it is important that we nurture that enthusiasm. Our Junior Umpires will be supported by Nicola, Tania and Karen each week.
Big thanks to Borka and Shayne who popped on the BBQ last weekend when help was needed. SCNA, like Bullants is run by volunteers and relies on parents stepping up to help out.
See you at the courts
