Finals, Awards & Votes,

Congratulations to all those teams who had their last game yesterday. We hope everyone enjoyed the season, improved their netball and made new friends.

Bullants has 13 teams through to the finals series – 2 Juniors, 4 Inters, 3 Cadets and 4 Seniors teams. Be ready to embrace the club spirit and put in your best effort at training and game day. Please remember, umpires umpire, coaches coach, players play, and spectators cheer positively from the sideline. Most importantly, everyone please have fun!

Congratulations to our winning volunteers

Yesterday SCNA announced the winners of the Volunteer of the Year Awards for 2023. Congratulations to Bullants’ very own Ellen Mihaljevic and Perdi Mitchell for taking home the Coach of the Year and Volunteer of the Year awards respectively. Both Ellen and Perdi give tireless hours for the success of Bullants netball and SCNA’s representative netball program. Their ongoing hard work ensures hundreds of players are on court each week and developing their skills. We are grateful for the contribution of both of these committee members who give so much for the enjoyment of others. Congratulations and thank you.

THANKING YOUR COACH

Team Managers will be coordinating an end of season gift to thank the coach. Please ensure you respond to these requests promptly. Coaches give up an enormous amount of time throughout the season to help players improve their netball skills and to create positive team environments. We do not pay our coaches, they are all volunteers. It would be great for all coaches to receive a thank-you memento from their team either at the last game or the end of season event.

Bullants training

Finally some good news…… the lights are working and we can all train tonight. See you at the courts!

Bullants Training

We have been advised by SCNA that the lights are still not working on the front courts. There is an electrician scheduled to attend on Wednesday, but we don’t know if they will be repaired in time.

The main impact is on the 5.30 session when we have 15 teams training and we need to use all the courts. We will let you know asap if we have to cancel any of the 5.30 training sessions.

If there are any teams that may be able to start early, say from 4.30, please get in touch with us so that we can open the courts for you.

Vote now: Volunteer of the Year Awards

Bullants Training Problems

We have arrived at the courts to find only half the lights working……. again!!!

We have cancelled training for the Year 2,3 and 4 teams. Parents/carers, please come to the courts asap to pick up your children. You should have received a message from your coach/manager by now. If you have older children who are training in the 5.30 time slot, we will supervise the younger ones until 6.30. Reminder: enter via King Street. There is an SCNA Exec meeting on tonight and there is no parking within the courts.

Inters/Cadets/Seniors – we anticipate you all training unless you get a specific message from your coach/manager.

SCNA Starlight Foundation fundraiser this Saturday

SCNA is holding a fundraiser round in support of the Starlight Foundation on the 5th of August! The Starlight Foundation helps transform the hospital and healthcare experience of kids and young people across Australia. We would love to see everyone get involved and support a great cause!

Bullants Training

This is a reminder to all parents and carers.

Please do NOT enter the courts carpark for drop off or pick up. There are many children walking around the area and it is dangerous if we have cars entering and leaving the courts. Also, we need to leave the car spaces free for our coaches who are volunteering their time, usually in multiple time slots.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Giants netball coming to SCNA courts 8.30am Saturday morning
