Competition and Training Information:
NSG Net (5-6y.o.)
A program run by SCNA (not Bullants) on Saturday mornings during the winter season. It’s aim is to build netball specific skills through fun games and some modified match play. This is usually the start of a player’s netball journey. For further information please see the SCNA website.
NSG Set (7-8y.o.) Usually Y2-3
A program run by Bullants. Often the first level of a player’s netball journey, though some players will have participated in NSG Net. Players are organised into teams and play modified rules netball against other teams. Generally training will be team-based, though teams may be combined to train together where appropriate.
Training: Wednesday 5.30-6.30
Games: Saturdays 9am
NSG Go (9-10y.o.) Usually Y4
A program run by Bullants. Sometimes the first level of a player’s netball journey, though often players will have participated in NSG Set. Players are organised into teams and play full-rules netball against other teams. Training is team-based. Go is a transition level towards competition netball and therefore there is no competition ladder and no finals are played.
Training: Wednesdays 5.30-6.30
Games: Saturdays at 9am or 10am, depending on court availability.
Juniors (Yr 5/6)
Most players will have participated in some level of NSG, but we also accept players new to netball. Players are assessed and placed into teams of similar skill level. Teams are graded into divisions and play full competition netball, including finals for the teams that qualify. Training is team-based.
Training: Wednesdays 5.30-6.30
Games: Saturdays at 10am or 11am, depending on division/court availability.
Inters (Yr 7/8) and Cadets (Yr 9/10)
Most players will be familiar with netball, but we accept players new to the sport. Players are assessed and placed into teams of similar skill level, which are then graded into divisions. Training is team-based.
Training: Wednesdays 6.30-7.30
Games: Saturdays at 11am or 12pm for Inters and 12pm or 1pm for Cadets, depending on division/court availability.
Seniors (Yr 11+)
Most players will be experienced netballers, but we do accept players new to netball. Players are assessed and placed into teams of similar skill level, which are graded into divisions. Training is generally team-based, depending on coach availability.
Training: Wednesdays 7.30-8.30
Games: Saturdays at 2pm or 3.15pm, depending on division/court availability.
Please note that games times are indicative only. Final schedule will not become available until SCNA releases the draw in April.
