At Bullants we aim to support all levels of netball experience and we recognise that players develop at different rates. We support all players regardless of skill level and will endeavour to match them to the most suited team.
We follow the Netball Australia Member Protection Policy, Netball Australia National Codes of Behaviour and our Constitution.
In addition we have a few Bullants specific rules.
Winter season – regular rounds
- All players are required to attend training and must contact the coach and/or team manager if they are unwell and unable to attend. Attendance and participation at training reflects commitment to the team. It is hard to include players on court at game time if they consistently miss training.
- All players in NetSetGo and Junior Division 3 & 4 will receive equal court time and be rotated through all court positions throughout the regular season.
- Players in Junior Division 1 & 2, all Inters, Cadets and Seniors Divisions will get equal court time as reflected by their commitment to training and team spirit.
- Players in Junior Division 1 & 2, all Inters, Cadets and Seniors Divisions should be prepared to play any position asked of them however it is recognised that area specialisation will start to occur as player skill and experience grows. It is recognised that the coach may guide a player to a position they see the player has strength in.
- All players who play in the SCNA representative program will be included in a Division 1 or 2 team of their age group where appropriate.
Winter season – final rounds
- Players of all divisions who make the finals rounds (semi, preliminary and grand finals) will be played at the discretion of the coach. All players are guaranteed two quarters (Divisions 3 & 4) and one quarter (Divisions 1 & 2) of court time per game only.
Summer season
- As the summer season is a social competition all players are expected to get equal court time and equal opportunity to play all positions.
