Weather update – 20 May

The rain has gone and we are good to go for a great day of netball.

Saturday games – 20 May (maybe)

Well who knows what tomorrow’s weather will bring.  As always the weather will be assessed before each time slot and a decision to play will be made based on the conditions at the time.  Assume you are playing until you are notified otherwise.  Any cancellations will be posted first on the SCNA website and Facebook and then I will update the Bullants site. Our first weather assessment will be at 7.30 am.

If games go ahead as scheduled, Shawnee has the bye this week.

Canteen: Apache (10:50) and Cree (2:50)

Saturday Games – 13 May

Here is the run down for Saturday.  It will be a big day down at SCNA with two GWS Giants coming down to the courts.  Come and chat or get an autograph from Susan Pettitt and Serena Guthrie between 10-11 am.  The Men’s League will also be hosted by SCNA this week.  Feel free to come and cheer for the SCNA Men at 3:15 pm.

Byes: None

Canteen:  Arapaho (9:50 am -11am), Cheyenne (12:50 – 2pm)
Setup/Packup: Chickasaw you are on Court packup after your game.  this means all bins emptied and brought into the shed along with the pole wrappers.

SENIORS: Important information.  The seniors divisions have been regraded.  Division 1 & 2 has been combined.  Please check the draw carefully as you may play at different time slots each week.

This week is NATIONAL VOLUNTEERS week and it is a chance for us all to say thanks to those who help out to get us on the court. So THANK YOU to all our amazing Bullants Volunteers…we couldn’t do it without you.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mums out there too XXX

See you courtside

Saturday games – 6 May

Sorry for the late post everyone.  Here are the details for Saturday.

Byes: Apache and Cherokee

Canteen:  Chinook, Mohicans, Braves.  There is a new canteen roster on the SCNA website at http://scna.act.netball.com.au/Canteen-and-BBQ.aspx?rw=c  It includes a set up, mid day clean up and pack down roster.  If your team is rostered on for these duties check in with the office for instructions.  Remember we need volunteer help to keep the competition going.

Men’s League – The SCNA men take the court on Saturday for the first time this season.  They would still be interested in hearing from anyone who would like to join them.  The Men’s league play at 3:15 pm on a Saturday afternoon rotating at each of the District courts.  They will be at SCNA on 13 May so come and cheer them on.

Saturday netball -29 April

Saturday games resume this weekend so please check the draws on the SCNA website or download the MyNetball app.

BYES: none for Bullants teams this week

Canteen: Sioux (9.50-11AM), Dakota (11.50-1.00pm) and Commanche (1.50-3pm).  This very easy duty can be shared by a few parents across the time slot.

Scorers: One scorer from each team must stand together to reduce any chance of disagreement with the score.

Be game ready – please trim nails and remove jewerly before getting to the courts.

Rubbish: The bins with the yellow lids at the courts are for recyclables  (coffee cups, cans, drink bottles etc). Please sort your rubbish and dont put food scraps in these bins.

Rep netball – Good luck to our girls starting the Senior State League comp tonight at Lyneham. We have many senior Bullants girls representing SCNA and they would love everyone to come and cheer for them.  Games start at 6pm at Solar Hub Netball stadium.  Our Junior Rep Carnival is on Sunday and again there are lots of Bullants participating in this, so good luck girls.  Thanks to the parents who have taken on volunteer roles for this. If you are a rep parent and havent signed up for a job or two please get onto the sign up genius app and sort that today…many hands make the day go smoother.

Training resumes tonight

Looks like the worst of the weather has passed so see you all at training. Please remember to pick up your uniform tonight as we cant hand it out on Saturday.

Enjoy your break

Just a reminder we are on term break now.  Netball will resume on Wednesday 26 April for training.

Safe travels if you are lucky enough to be getting away.

Chiefs Div 3 forfeit

Hey Chiefs. The CGGS team you were playing has forfeited so no game for you today. Spread the word.

Saturday games 1 April

Looks like a sunny day for tomorrows rounds. District grading continues for Juniors (10-12) and Inters (12-2).  The draws are on the SCNA website. Please remember to come game ready; no piercings, long nail and with hair tied back.  Please leave the dog at home.

We will be training on this coming Wednesday but will then break for the holidays resuming Wednesday 26 April.

See you at the courts

A message from SCNA

Dear SCNA Community
The SCNA Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 5 April 2017 at 7pm at the Deakin Netball Courts.

All clubs must provide at least one representative to attend this meeting however we ask that you invite all your families to consider nominating for a position on the SCNA Executive.

The SCNA District is run by volunteers and cannot operate without an elected Executive committee.  You do not have to be a netball expert; we value many skills sets including financial, marketing, event management and general organisation management.  Please find attached the agenda for the meeting and a nomination form. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
