Twilight netball is happening! Starting Monday 1 November games will commence and run for 7 weeks finishing Wednesday 15 December. The competition will be broken across three days to allow for COVID safe number of players on court. The number of teams competing will be strictly capped.
| COMPETITION | DAY | START TIME | FINISH TIME |
| NetSetGo NET (Run by SCNA: skills only, no match play) | Monday | 5:30pm | 6:20pm |
| NetSetGo SET (refer to draws for official timings) | Monday | 5.30pm or 6.30pm | 6.20pm or 7.20pm |
| NetSetGO GO | Monday | 6:30pm | 7:20pm |
| Juniors | Tuesday | 5.30pm | 6.20pm |
| Intermediates | Tuesday | 6.30pm | 7.20pm |
| Women’s Social | Tuesday | 7.30pm | 8.20pm |
| Women’s | Wednesday | 6pm | 6.50pm |
| Mixed | Wednesday | 7pm | 7.50pm |
Twilight netball is more relaxed than Winter netball, with no official uniform required, no training sessions and no formal coaching. Teams can have no more than 10 players in line with covid-safe return to play requirements. Each team needs a Manager to help get players on court, and provide some guidance particularly for players new to the sport. The Manager is responsible for bringing the kit bag each week and then returning to club at end of season. For Women’s and Mixed competitions, no Manager is allowed on court with the team. Bullants will also provide umpires for all age groups EXCEPT FOR NetSetGo SET where the Manager provides on-court “coaching”. If you are keen to help out with umpiring twilight netball, please email the club bullantsnetball@gmail.com.
We are happy for whole teams to nominate along with a Manager. If you have a team organised, please email with the list of players and Manager’s contact details. Alternatively, single players are welcome to register and will be placed with other players, but also let us know if there are friends that want to play together.
Interested players/families need to register via the Bullants website by 6pm on Thursday 21 October. http://bullants.act.netball.com.au/Twilight-Social-Competition.aspx?rw=c. SCNA are taking teams on a first-come-first-served basis so we need to get our teams nominated asap, hence the short registration period. NO LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
If you have any queries, please email the club at bullantsnetball@gmail.com
We want as many amazing Bullants players to hit the court as possible, so please get your registrations in quickly. Bring on netball and all those fun times running around in the sun (or twilight more exactly)!

Some exciting news this week for those Bullants players who are eager to be back on court! SCNA informed us they have started planning a 7 week summer netball comp commencing the first week of November and running through to mid-December. This will be aligned with the staged return to community sport as outlined by the ACT government and of course will adhere to all necessary Covid requirements. More information will be shared when it is available, including player registrations. Stay tuned!

Thank you to those people who participated in our online presentation last week. It was great to be able to recognise the season that was and to formally thank all the tireless coaches, managers, umpires, scorers and general helpers as well as the supportive and positive attitudes of players and parents/carers.
Planning for 2022 is already underway, kit bags have been collected, equipment sorted and bibs washed. We could use some help repairing elastic sided bibs, so if you are able to thread up a sewing machine, we would love to hear from you. Elastic is provided. Email us at bullantsnetball@gmail.com

SCNA AGM tomorrow (Wednesday 22nd) 7pm
The South Canberra Netball Association AGM is on tomorrow night at 7pm via Microsoft Teams. Members from participating clubs are welcome and encouraged to attend. Click here to join the meeting.
There are a few positions to fill on the executive team and community members are encouraged to consider self nominating, or nominating someone you know to join the team. The nomination form is attached. It’s a great way to meet new people and contribute to making the netball seasons fun for our kids. It’s also a great way to stay connected.
SCNA has a number of roles that need people to volunteer for and volunteers will be supported by others in the executive and also the paid staff.
Its been a challenging year but there is a lot to look forward to and joining the SCNA executive is a great way to contribute to the community.
