Grand finals = awesome effort Bullants

We had three teams competing in today’s SCNA grand final round. All three games were nail biters and all players showed amazing teamwork and sportsmanship.
Congratulations Arapaho and Kiowa, both division winners and both teams won by one single goal. Commanche fought incredibly hard the whole way but finished runners up. Well done everyone, you should be very proud of your efforts.

We re looking forward to celebrating at our end of season party next Wednesday, 25 September, 5:45 pm. If you haven’t let the team manager know you are coming, then please do by Sunday night.

The Bullants committee will hold its inaugural AGM after the party at 7:30 pm. If you are interested in joining our team then please come along. Bullants is 100% organised by volunteers…we need your help to keep the club going. All positions on the committee will be vacated and need to be filled. Contact me at bullantsnetball@gmail.com if you need more information on what is involved.

We only need 1 volunteer from each of the following teams each quarter just to give our SCNA volunteers an extra helping hand next weekend.

INTERS
2nd quarter: Bullants Comanche

Updated news from SCNA

Please note that on closer inspection of the SCNA Constitution, I realise I have made an error in calling for nominations for the role of President.
Section 17.4 states that
“In the event of a vacancy in the membership of the Executive, the Executive may appoint a Member of the Association to fill the vacancy and the Executive Member so appointed shall hold office, subject to these rules, until the conclusion of the next annual general meeting following the date of the appointment”.

The appointment of a member to the role of President by the Executive committee will be announced at the Council meeting.

Again, I apologise for initially providing incorrect information.

Kind regards
Ruth Mahon
Vice President – Senior

Finals round : 7 September 2013

Sadly we farewelled 5 teams from the 2013 winter competition. Congratulations to the players, coaches and umpires for these teams. With the finals rounds starting this weekend we have 8 teams competing. It is important that players from these teams attend training this week.

Juniors div 1: Bullants Arapaho; Bullants Cherokee
Juniors div 3: Bullants Shawnee

Inters div 1: Bullants Dakota
Inters div 2: Bullants Commanche
Inters div 4: Bullants Kiowa

Seniors div 2: Bullants Braves; Bullants Chickasaw

Canteen for Round 1 Finals:
So that all parents are able to watch majority of their child’s final, we have decided that we will have a parent from 2 teams in each division volunteer for one quarter only.
The best way to do this is by division, so:
Juniors
1st quarter: Bullants Cheroke
3rd quarter: Bullants Shawnee

Inters
1st quarter: Bullants Dakota
