Hi Bullants families,

Thanks to all who registered for the twilight comp. We have begun sorting players into teams and there is a slight shortfall in the following age groups:

Year 3 – NSG Set on Monday
Year 4 – JuniorsGo on Monday
Year 5 – Juniors on Monday
Year 7/8 – Inters on Tuesday
Adults – Senior Ladies Comp on Tuesday nights

If there are any winter season players in these age groups who have not registered for the twilight comp, the registration portal (http://bullants.act.netball.com.au/Twilight-Social-Competition.aspx?rw=c) is open for the next couple of days (closing Tuesday 6/10). Alternatively, if you have a friend who may be interested in playing, get them to register.

We hope to confirm team lists with everyone by the end of this week.

Just a reminder that tomorrow (30th September) is the last day to register for the twilight competition commencing on 19 October. No late registrations will be accepted. Good morning Bullants families.

Last games today and in keeping with netball being a winter sport it is cold at the courts this morning. Make sure to wear long sleeves and leggings under your dresses. Parents and supporters, rug up!!

Dear Club,

We are nearing the end of the winter season. Well done to all the players, coaches, managers, umpires and supporters. It has been a terrific season with major improvements in skills and lots of fun – despite the COVID situation. This Saturday is our last winter game.

Bullants have been asked to provide gate monitors for most time slots this week, please consider helping if you get asked by your team manager. Please also nominate your player players.

Remember we will have our season wind up on Wednesday 14 October, at your usual training time. We will have awards presentation and fun activities. It will just be the players due to COVID restrictions.

Summer competition starts second week of term. Our registrations will close on a hard deadline of 30 September.

And lastly, remember the motto, players play, coaches coach, umpires umpire and supporters support.

Hi all our NSG Set players and families.

We are currently having technical difficulties with the registration set-up for the NSG Set Twilight Comp. We are working on it and will let you know as soon as it has been fixed.

Thanks to the sharp-eyed mum who noted that there is no option within the survey for Juniors players to nominate their players’ player. When I re-read the post, I realised it wasn’t clear what was intended (shouldn’t be doing netball admin so late at night!!).

NSG, JuniorsGo and Juniors players will make their nominations via their coach, who will collate the votes and advise the committee. Hope that clarifies things….

As mentioned in our post last week we are currently working towards the end-of-season presentations and twilight comp, and need your responses.

Players’ Player Awards

We need all Inters and Seniors players to nominate their players’ player by 27 September 2020. You can do so online here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/QZXM5WM
Remember, this award is for the player who makes you feel most included in the team and who you most enjoy playing netball with, not who you think is the “best” player or who you may have the best friendship with. 

Coaches will be talking to NSG, JuniorsGo and Juniors players about their nominations. It would help if parents talked to their young players about the purpose of this award as noted above, prior to them coming to training on Wednesday.

Twilight Registrations

Registrations for the Twilight competition open 15 September. You can register via this link: http://bullants.act.netball.com.au/Twilight-Social-Competition.aspx?rw=c.

The cut off date for registrations is strictly 30 September. LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

If you, your child or your friend intends to play with Bullants in the twilight comp, please register asap. SCNA have advised that, due to Covid19 restrictions, participation will be on a first-come-first-served basis, so we cannot delay getting our team nominations in.

If winter teams wish to stay together, or there are a group of players that wish to play together, please let us know each players’ name as soon as possible by emailing us at bullantsnetball@gmail.com. We will create teams as players register and immediately nominate them to SCNA, so the earlier we have this information the earlier we can get our teams in and be sure of getting a place in the comp.
