Training is compulsory and is even more important now as we enter the finals series of the competition. Please let your coach know if you have a genuine reason to be absent from training.

Safety – We have noticed several cars coming inside the courts to collect their children. It is chaotic at changeover time and very dark and unsafe to mix cars and young kids. Please park your car away from the courts and WALK to meet your player at pickup. Only Bullants Committee members and cars displaying disabled permits are allowed inside the courts on Wednesday’s.

Congratulations to Eloise C for achieving her Umpiring C-Badge on Saturday! Well done.

Grass court games cancelled

Games for Yr 4 teams playing on the grass today are cancelled. Iroquois, Sioux and Kamia are the impacted teams.

All other games going ahead at this stage

Congratulations

Congratulations to all the Bullants players who represented SCNA at the Junior Championships recently. Special shout out to:

Katie P for achieving her umpire C-Badge at the championships

Willow, Abbi, Leah and Ava who played in the successful U11/1 premiership team.

See everyone Wednesday night.

Best wishes for ACT Junior Championships

To our Bullants community who are representing South Canberra Netball Association and playing, coaching, managing, umpiring or cheering from the sideline over the next two weekends at the ACT Junior Championships we wish you the very best of netball fun and success!

Lost Uniform

Someone left behind a CGGS uniform skirt, jumper and shoes in a white canvas bag. If it’s yours please send an email to bullantsnetball@gmail.com so we can arrange to return them to you.

Rd6/7/8; BBQ thanks, scoresheets, lost property

Well done for braving the cold on Wednesday night for training. Layering clothes is important during these colder months, as is a good warm up to prevent injury. It is acceptable to wear leggings or a top under your dress on game-day, black is preferred,

Upcoming dates of no netball. Due to the June long weekend, ACT Junior Championships and the school holidays, we have a disjointed few weeks of netball ahead of us. We will still train on Wednesdays throughout the school term. The next three rounds and dates for the competition are:

Round 6 – 4th June

Round 7 – 18th June

Round 8 – 23rd July

BBQ thanks. Thank you to all those helpers who helped out on Saturday and made our BBQ duty run so smoothly. The club receives part of the profit from this BBQ duty and this goes towards our end of season celebration, equipment and umpires. Thanks again for your valued time and effort.

Scoresheet: Please can all players, coaches and managers check that player names are pre-printed on the scoresheet for your team. If you have a player who is not listed on the scoresheet, please advise the Bullants committee.

Lost Property – We have an almost overflowing basket of lost property that has been left at the courts after training over the last few weeks. Come to the pavilion next Wednesday if you have lost something – a raiders jacket, SCNA jumper, various other jumpers and drink bottles.
