NetSetGo NET is a program run by SCNA offered to players in Kindy and Year 1. This program introduces children to netball skills in a fun environment. NetSetGo Net will be run every Mondays (5:30-6:20pm) between the 17th of October and the 5th of December. The program will be run at the SCNA courts in Deakin and registration will cost $30. This program will have a maximum of 30 participants. See registration link below.
This information has been supplied by SCNA. Please be sure to leave enough time to get to the courts on time!
Please be advised that the Kent St bridge will be closed in both directions this coming weekend 3rd & 4th September 2022 as part of the intersection upgrade project. It is understood there may have been some confusion and uncertainty on how to access the netball precinct last Saturday morning, particularly from the south off Cotter Rd into Dudley St.
Attached is a mark up of the suggested detour route to avoid the closure and gain clear access to Denison St. The green route is from the south along Cotter Rd and the purple route is from the north along Adelaide Ave. I trust this may be of assistance in informing the association and it’s members for the upcoming weekend fixtures.
Games this weekend: Here is a timetable of all the games Bullants are playing in this weekend. Please come and cheer your club!
For those teams who are playing in finals, your managers will be coming to you to volunteer some time in the canteen, bbq and on court set up, pack up or midday check. Please be responsive to these communications from your manager. This is a very busy time for coaches with their teams, and they definitely don’t need any added stress regarding our SCNA responsibilities.
Speaking of supporting coaches. Managers will be contacting you about providing contributions to gifts for coaches. Please ensure you respond to these requests promptly. Coaches give up an enormous amount of time throughout the season to help your players improve their netball skills and to create positive team environments. We do not pay our coaches, they are all volunteers. So it would be great for them to receive a thank-you memento from their teams at the end of the season.
