So ends another fantastic year of netball and we would like to wish everyone a safe and happy summer break and thank you all for your support throughout the year.
At Bullants HQ, the fun never stops and it’s never too early to think about next year, so here are a few updates for the year ahead:
- In 2016 all players will get to wear our Bullants A-line Dress, previously reserved for our Seniors and Inters divisions.
- All player and officials’ registrations will be done online with payment and uniform purchases completed via the payment gateway supported by Netball Australia.
- Our online registration form will be available in late January (for those who have followed us on the website, watch out for our email in your inbox for full details in Jan).
- With the introduction of streamlined registrations we will have two evenings, 3rd and 10th Feb, where you will be able to come and try on uniform for sizing purposes and troubleshoot registration where required.
- Grading will be completed on Wednesday 17th and 24th February and regular trainings will commence the following Wednesday 2nd March for the remainder of the season.
- Ear piercing – if you forgot to have it done at the end of the season, your window is closing!! Just a reminder that all piercings and jewellry will need to be removed for trials and training for safety reasons.
Bullants Netball is a wonderful community and we are run purely by volunteers who spend their very precious leisure time for the good of us all. We have a great new committee, elected at our recent AGM, as well as some awesome players and parents that help in various ways throughout the year. It is with heavy hearts that we say farewell to all those families who are leaving us this year, we hope when circumstances change we will see you again soon, until then, enjoy your netball wherever you find it!
For all those families we will see in the New Year, don’t be shy about sending our website or contact email to friends, colleagues and family. We missed most of the school/ newsletters for Term 4 so please spread the word far and wide about how and when to join- there is nothing worse than not being able to fit someone in because they didn’t find out about Netball until long after registrations closed.
