Welcome back – Saturday 29 August 2015

Despite the break in competition, it has been quite busy at Bullants.  Some of players scored an invite to Parliament House to a reception hosted by PM Tony Abbott for the Australian Netball Diamonds.  They enjoyed morning tea before the ceremony started and then got to meet the players after the official ceremony.

GAMES 29 August 2015
We are down to the last two rounds of the competition before the finals start.
Cree has the BYE this weekend.
Shawnee Junior Division 3 has completed their two full rotations of games in the draw and as such while the last two games will be played, they will not impact on the finals results.  Congratulations Shawnee, you are the first Bullants team to make it to the finals round.

TEAM PHOTOS
Please be at the courts a few minutes early this week so that I can take your team photos.

BBQ & Canteen Duty
Bullants has BBQ duty on Saturday 5 September.  We use the funds raised at the BBQ to pay for our End of Season  party.  Please give a little of your time to help out.  We need 4 volunteers each time slot from 8:30 am – 1:30 pm (or there about).  We also have a canteen duty from 9:50 – 11:00am.  SIGN UP HERE TO HELP

End of season PARTY
Just a reminder that we had to move the party forward by one week to WEDNESDAY 16 SEPTEMBER.  Please bring the family to celebrate the season.
So that we can adequately cater, please RSVP HERE

Congratulations
Congratulations to Caitlin Hanna, Eloise Millington and Olivia Cummins (former Bullant) on their selection in the Develop a Diamond Squad.  Great effort to all our Bullants who trialed.

Summer Comp
Please start thinking about if you/your child would like to play summer comp.  We will have registration for the competition in the next few week and usually we rely very heavily on parents to coordinate the team on game day .  Summer comp is a very social environment – kids play a game, get a snag from the BBQ for dinner, and mum and dad can even get a team together. The competition starts Wednesday October 21 and runs for 8 weeks.
